Hi,
let's meet the Cosmos II Ultra Tower
http://www.coolermaster.com/case/ultra-tower/cosmos-2/Nice brushed aluminum finish and opening door on the side is fabulous like opening a limo cardoor...
"come on in... get inside and have a drink on the back seat"
Also the sliding panels on the front and top are smooth.
Everything looks solid and high quality.
A minor thing is that I cannot wire the fan (inside of door) nicely and now it is just hanging.
On the website they say that itt is an airflow optimized design, but I do not agree on that yet.
I might update my findings in aircooling in this case later when having experienced working with it.
(
I just opened the box and installed the Titans and I did not 'play'with it yet)
These are my findings for now:
On the side I did not mount the second fan, because of the power cables to the GPU are at the same place as the fan would be. It is possible, but a bit tricky when fan blades might hit the cables.
Another thing is the heavy construction on the front side is in the way for a optimal ariflow; you can see the construction with the holes just behind the front fan.
Therefor I have added another extra fan inside to optimize this flow (you can see it on the right side of the GPU's).
Third thing of having not an optimal airflow is the fact that the watercooler for CPU is always making the AC worse. When having it on top I was only able to have one fan (instead of 3 now). Desicion was made to have the watercooler on the backpanel which means that the main airflow is on the top and just a little bit on the back (back is now mainly for CPU).
The thing is heavy... unpacked box was about 35kg!
And it is big...
Notice the sliding panels on top and front...
notice extra fan in inside (because of obstruction airflow front)
cheers,
