Hello,

I have compiled a special build of the Octane plugin to be used with Lightwave 11.6 pre-release until we fix the SDK issues of this LW version. It is only available for Windows x64.

It has not been tested in deep, so perhaps it could have more hidden problems, but at least here it works fine.

You only need to replace the LWOctane.p file of your current 1.20.1 plugin release with this new one.

Thanks for this juanjgon!

I have a small bug to report with limited region enabled. The render size is 1 pixel smaller that the region. eg a 512x256 limited region is rendered as 511x255

This are the Octane builds for the last 11.6 pre-release, LW build 2708:

-not used now-

As you know 11.6 is in beta stage, and there are changes in each build that breaks the Octane plugin, so perhaps for the next LW11.6 release or for the final 11.6 I am going to need to update the plugin again.

The idea was to wait for final 11.6 release, but perhaps I could make a plugin release for current 2714 build if somebody is using it in production.

Any idea when the plugin will be final to include 11.6 (now that it is final)?

Or do we just download the 11.6 version of your plugin? Don't want to dl 11.6 till I know what's happening with Octane.

You can download the current plugin version for LW 11.6, it should work with the final 11.6 release.

Anyway soon I am going to update all plugin versions (LW 10, 11.5 and 11.6 for windows x32, x64 and OSX), including the demo ones, with a new build with some bugs fixed, the new motion blur and few more features.
