Trams mapped hair

I must be missing something with the hair on my models. Everything comes out as strands of semi-transparent "tape". BTW, the skin tones are just beautiful with Octane.

That's transmapped hair. Blame auto spell.

Hi Pete. 90% of the transmapped hair I've tested rendered great with the standard material conversion - however I am sure there are some more complex Poser hair shaders that will need some tweaking in Octane. Can you post a render sample and a screenshot of the Octane node in the Poser plugin for the hair material pls?

Sorry, I don't have a node map....but here is the render. I figure you can tell me how to start to fix it.

Pete - there is definitely an issue there!

What hair prop is that?
Have you tried other hair props? Do they work correctly?

Can you pls post a screenshot of the Poser Material Room with the hair material selected. And can you post a screenshot of the OctaneRender for Poser plugin - Materials Tab - with the hair material tree item expanded.

Ummm...I would. But I don't know the steps to do that. Embarrassed. I'll give you the hair set after I look at the file. Maybe you can send a quick step-by-step.

If you mean just the material tree I could expand it and give you a screenshot.

Yes - I just need a screenshot. And a screenshot of the Poser Material Room nodes for one of the hair materials too pls.
