It's a fresh install of Poser - and from the Poser forums it looks like a common error related potentially to Adobe Air and the firewall. I'm still not sure why this is effecting activation, but we are working through it at the moment.

In case anyone else has this issue - it has been tracked down to an issue with the 32 bit installer for the plugin. I have now rectified this issue and Piet is testing it. The Poser "Fault Detected!" is a separate issue, related to Flash or Adobe Air which Piet will need to resolve too :-)

Plugin Activation issue has been resolved by new version Paul created.

The Poser Library issue seems unrelated to the activation issue -- Actually I think I was activated and software just didn't recognize it for some reason. (based on current behavior you only need to activate once, not every time you upgrade).

I have a support email from Poser that I need to walk through to fix "library" issue - if I can get that working (so that I have confidence in Poser), then I'll do the upgrade to the Poser 64 bit software (which seems silly to me is not a feature in Poser 9).

I wish to share that Paul worked this issue with me very aggressively. We exchanged emails and I sent log files etc and he stuck to the problem and was outstanding in his help with this and I thank him very much in his support to get me straightened out!!!!

Just wondering - is it not a firewall issue. The Air library is a separate program, it might have a different signature now which is not recognized by the firewall and may need to be allowed again

About the Poser problem, I followed their procedures, but even though I was able to go to their page and see the XML code (meaning it was working), I followed the below procedure and then I was OK. So for me, it was how my network/LAN works.

Open Intenet Explorer > choose Tools > Internet Options > click the CONNECTIONS tab > click LAN SETTINGS > Uncheck the "Automatically detect settings" box > click OK > then click OK again > Then retry loading the link above.
