"Paper" Animation

Hi everyone,

this is a piece I was working on the past 4 weeks:

[vimeo]http://www.vimeo.com/55570204[/vimeo]
http://vimeo.com/55570204

Overall concept was to look like papercrafted animation, hope you'll like the result.

Unfortunatelly it's all in beautiful polish language :)
In short words: It's mainly about activities taken by CCEP, taking care about rare species like bisons or baltic seals
and developing infrastructure to prevent environmental degradation caused by trekking tourists.

Most of the time DL first few shots PT and I used real people in the very beginning. (much quicker to set up)

Done with mostly on single GTX580 sometimes suported by GTX470.

I used to open two instances of C4D and Octane to render at the same time different parts.
It was faster than using one. Somehow compensated for voxelization and gives more frames per hour than when I used only one instance.

Octane again proved to be a great tool.
Octane Team you're Rock Stars.

Wonderful work ! It is long but not boring at all. I love the animals around the river. The view with the wolf is gorgeous. Excellent camera angles and moving.

The best papercraft animation I have ever seen ! Congratulations !
