That would be a good option.

Paul,

Haven't heard back on my request to license@, any thoughts on the matter?

I've followed the instructions, downloaded both, made my 99 euro purchase and still no joy.

Apparently either I can't read or it wasn't terribly clear when I bought the plugin. I need to purchase another license for 99 euro?

OctaneRender for Poser is an addition to OctaneRender Standalone - so you need an OctaneRender Standalone AND OctaneRender for Poser license. The words on the product pages in the "News and Announcements" forums states:

COMPATIBILITY AND OCTANERENDER STANDALONE REQUIREMENT

To run OctaneRender® for Poser, you need to have an activated OctaneRender® Standalone copy on the machine you wish to
install the plugin onto. You cannot purchase only the Poser plugin and use it without also owning an activated copy of OctaneRender®
Standalone on your machine.
