hello, about instancing, i hope it will read LW's instances.
SDK allows for this, Kray and Maxwell can read them.

First test using native Octane instancing.
4.7 MPolygons that eats 800 MB in Lightwave plain geometry, rendered using only 26 MB in Octane ... great :)

If anything is moving for Lightwave - Octane integration, that's great news! I've (we've lightwavers) been waiting so long for a workable exporter already. but that... integration plugin within lightwave! That's christmas!

Here you have a video working with Octane instancing. Plugin can render the LW clones as instances , or can render instances from Null objects simple naming them as any loaded object plus a "-" prefix. Easy :)
Octane for LW is also going to support the LW11 instancing system, but this is going to be added later.
