Hey guys, where is that material test ball that is shown on the front page? I would like to start making and sharing some materials. Do we have a collection place for them yet?

Hi,

The ball is actually integrated into the software.
if you click on a material node, you see it with the material you've selected.

There's not much point in making a manual material database right now,
we've got awesome plans for that, which you will see in a few weeks.

Not to rub it in but please
can the material sphere be re-exported from MoI to obj?
(as Octane now read perfectly obj from MoI) and replace the one integrated in Octane?
the actual sphere still have the "bad smooth issue"...

i'd like to take the opportunity to make a new one if we replace it.
btw i don't have the old source anymore for the ball.
maybe we should do a mini-competition.
