Octane render 4 estimate date release ?

Hi otoy,
How about a new roadmap for 2018/2019 ... Are you still planning to release octane 4 this year whereas 3.1 is not released yet ? How do you progress on amd cards support ? Do you work together with amd to solves issues or release a specific driver ? Personnaly i leave octane for 3ds max to focus on blender octane but every release take long time to achieve, Any progress on 3.08 for blender ? i'm so impatient to test toon shader

The next release will merge 3.08 with the non-denoiser 3.09 features and is in final testing. All plug-ins should be ready to go with this build. Sorry for the delay. We want this to cover production features for a while, while we work on the denoiser in experimental releases to follow.

Off the top of my head, we moved these planned 3.09 features into 3.08 RC:
- Optimized Volta support and performance
- volume AOV passes (emission, absorbtion, scattering, Z, backZ)
- metalic material sheen support
- 3 channel IOR
- proper irradiance AOV (no need to divide with raw flag)
- OSL baking camera
- bent normal AOV vector +
coverage pass

So, just to clarify, by "RC" do you mean "Release Candidate?" Because I'm using 3.08 Test Build 6, and it doesn't recognize the Titan V.
I also thought that 3.08 Stable was dropping soon (like, any second now?)

By 'material sheen support' do you mean coatings ? and if so will there be an option for flakes as Octane desperately needs a Metallic Paint shader...
Also will there be an option for importing/using 3rd party complex IOR files ?
