So bad optimization of Octane Render 2022 on RTX enabled?

Hello.
I've new GeForce RTX 4090.
I tested Octane Render 2022.1 demo and I got only
~200 MS/s by pathtracing kernel at 1002x602 despite RTX enabled. But see -
https://www.geeks3d.com/forums/index.php?msg=10846 and look "VK RT
Pathtracing v1" demo (running
Vulkan API) and "screenshot at 256-spp" and at the resolution screen of 1920x1080 (FHD).
My RTX 4090 got close to
9 GS/s (
~8,900 MS/s = 1920 x 1080 x 17fps x 256 spp) at 256-spp (sample per pixel) on "VK RT Pathtracing v1" demo. Haaaa!??!!!! Woowwwwwww!
Why do we get ~200 MS/s (= very slow) on OR despite RTX enabled? But seems to be ABNORMAL...

Congrats on the 4090!
I would run the octane benchmark and see if your system preforms to others - otherwise maybe a fresh scene could help as well with new render settings?

Thank very you!!

I got normal score (=
1312 OB on GF 526.86 driver) on OctaneBench 2020.1.5.
---> But the BAD implementation of RTX under Octane Render since 2020.x continues after RTX 20 released because we thought RTX enabled would be 10x-15x faster than RTX disabled for the good optimization of OR, few days later of GeForce RTX 20 released... :/

@Roeland (developer):
Vulkan Raytracing Demo v2021.2.18.0 with benchmark ->
DOWNLOAD (Google Chrome only but do NOT use "Microsoft Edge" for does not work to download)
-->
You should investigate the difference between this Vulkan demo and your Octane Render for find any serious issue of RTX enabled on Octane Render v2022.x.
We would get ~8.5 or ~9 GS/s running GeForce RTX 4090 for easier and faster to appear caustics at pathtracing kernel with 8-depth diffuse+specular using the future Octane Render 2022.x or 2023 and we will be rendering during 2 or 3 hours (30 or 50M-spp (sample per pixel), respectivately) for very good/excellent caustics at our sun at 1920x1080. Or 1 hour (30M-spp) at 1280x720.

Hi, has the driver been accordingly updated?
And just in case, is the GPU properly installed and powered?

Not videocard nor GF driver issue but yes Octane Render issue.

I upgraded videocard from EVGA
GTX 980 Ti SC+ to Zotact RTX 4090 non-OC and I plugged not fully properly 12VHPWR adapter on october 30th. Zotac GPU's manual had the lack of the especial warning before this adapter plug. lol. NV or PCI-SIG paid the new attention for this adapter plug only on november 09th. 2 day later, I plugged fully properly this adapter - I'm luck and happy for not burn.
