No Cuda Device (Licenced)

Hello all,

Apolagies for posting in the wrong section but it seems I can only post in this section of the forum. I just purchased a license for Octane and have the final version of Cinema 4D (S24) Whenever I try to active Octane I get the following error: There is no Cuda device selected

I have a GeForce RTX 2070 (max Q Design) GPU, 32 GB RAM which I believe should be able to run Octane. I also have updated my latest driver (GeForce Game Ready 466.11)

What can be the issue here, am I updating the wrong drivers here? I would appreciate if someone could help me out here! Please see some screenshots links below

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
please, also download and install 2020.2.3 Standalone.

You can find it by visiting your personal Downloads area:
https://render.otoy.com/account/download_archive.php

If not present, at first start, you will be asked to press the Download button, to automatically install a new cuDNN library to run it correctly:

Then please go to c4doctane Settings/Devices panel, and make sure that RTX 2070 is enabled.

Hi everyone,

Sorry to jump in this resolved thread but I'm currently running into the same issue. I've upgraded my graphic card yesterday (from a RTX 2070 to an RTX 3070 Ti). Everything was running fine on my 2070.

I've upgraded my driver through GeForce Experience (at first I was using Game Ready driver and then I switched to the Studio one as I still got the no Cuda device issue.)

When I open my Octane settings, I see my graphic card but everytime I select it octane automaticaly deselect it.

I tried to install Octane Standalone as mentionned earlier but at the first start it dosen't ask me anything (it just open the software).

Do you guys already had the same issue ?

Thanks for your time.
