if, Install octane for C4D with out standalone vision, will it crash more ?

Please, download and install also the Standalone application (not the zipped version), since it changes some Windows registry optimized for GPU rendering.
Anyway, if you are having chashes, most likely it is Nvidia driver dependent.

Please, if you are under Windows, go to Control Panel/Device Manager/Display adapters, and share a screenshot with us, thanks:


Then go to Control Panel/Nvidia Control Panel, press the System Informations link, and share another screenshot, thanks:

the crash was gone,
when I update from [ 4.05 ] to [ 2019.1.3 ] !

my platform is [ 2060S x2 ]
and is not the problem of Nvidia driver.
