Proxy material issues_rhino

Hi,
I'm having some problems with the materials of proxys that disappear on rhino plug in.
Here is what I do :
- I create an object with a lot of mesh (a tree for exemple)
- then I apply materials and render to check that everything works well
- then I export the file to .obj (making sure the box "export material definitions" is checked in the export options)

after that I open a new file, create a block, apply the geometry that I have just created before, then I render.
1. the geometry is good but materials are not correct (they appear glossy but they shoudn't and links are missing) so I have to relink all the maps and do all the settings again.
then it renders the material correctly

2. but then if I purge material, every proxy materials disappear and all proxys are white again.

So, is it normal that I have to do the material settings again when I import a proxy ?
And how comes that when I purge then all the proxy material disappear ?

Thank you for your help.

Bumping old post. Yes I do get these errors with proxy geometry/blocks. With trees that I have properly set up and export with opacity map and checked, loses its materials when I apply them to a project. I always lose the opacity map?

So I would have to reapply all the opacity maps again.

Also I find that when I work on the same project again, maybe a few days later the proxy geometries opacity map is gone again?

Has this got to do with the network? or how materials are linked in proxies?

Purging also gets rid of my proxy all materials which is annoying.
