Hi,
white spots are usually called fireflies in Octane and, in general, are related with caustics. For example, higher bump values, exaggerated reflectance values or nested emitters could be the cause. To fastly solve the issue, beside verifying that there aren't values out of range, you can rise the Caustic blur value till 1 in the kernel settings or, even better, largly reduce the GI clamp value to also speed up the render and remove all the fireflies ;)
