Is it possible to use a background with jpeg sequence in octane render and octane render plugin ?
I want to use a background "material" like I do in C4D standard renderer.

Thanks

You can use it as reference but it will not render.

Hi Yambo, not completely correct. It should work as in C4D's normal workflow. But can't be rendered out in floatbuffer type if i remember correctly.

ok. So there's no possibility to use an animated background for a tracking 3D text integrated in a video.

bad news for me...

it's working with at least 8bit buffer. what's your real purpose? you can combine any background in compositing software when you choose floatbuffer.

Sorry Aoktar, I'm a newbbe in this world and I don't understant what you explain.

I use a jpeg sequence in 8bit in a background material. if I use the first frame only, the background appears in octane render but if I specify in animation tab, all the frames, the backgroung is black again.

can you explain me how to do ?

Many thanks for your help

Nothing is different from normal method. You might be doing something is not supported. Attached a sample scene.
