Hello Again,

Questions on exporting camera animations from 3DS max to Octane VR standalone:

1- Is this possible to export 3Ds max Camera animations(Either keyframes or paths) into Octane VR standalone along with your 3d scene?

2- If this is possible how do you go about exporting the camera animations in Octane VR standalone?

3- Do we need a third party plugin like this once http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=73&t=41365?

We are doing pretty simple animations, we just want to animate our 360 pano cam in Octane vr standalone. If this is not recommended please let me know. 3DS max is choking hard with the 360 degree cam stereo setup. On multiple machines as well it's becoming a pain in the butt.

Yes, it is possible. On the render settings in max there's a "tool" panel with an export button. It will export your max scene in an .orbx file format which can be opened in Octane standalone. It exports camera animations. I haven't tried with mesh animations yet but I think it can't see why it shouldn't work as well.
