Can't find ORBX Media Player

I just got a Samsung Note 4 and have a Gear VR headset on order. I am trying to find the necessary apps for viewing the samples but nothing comes up when I do a search in the Google Play Store for "ORBX." Likewise, I can not find the ORBX player in the Galaxy Apps store either.

Can someone provide specific links or instructions where this elusive media player can be found?

I don't see any listing for Samsung Gear Shop or Samsung VR?

The application I am using on my Note 4 says "Galaxy Apps." Within Galaxy Apps nothing comes up for a search on "Samsung Shop" or "Samsung Gear VR".

Is there another Samsung marketplace application I should be using other than "Galaxy Apps"?

Nor do I see any results for ORBX player when I search those terms under Google Play.

This is incredibly frustrating - can someone from Otoy provide specific instructions on how to find and download the ORBX player?

Does one first have to have the Gear VR headset installed? because I do not actually have the device yet, it is being shipped to me.

It's not rocket science. You will have to wait until the GearVR arrives. When it does, theOculus software will download when you first plug it in. It will then be obvious.

Ok thanks. That's what I was beginning to suspect. Just got my phone a few days ago and Android is pretty new to me. I do have a Nexus 7 for about a year but rarely use it and when I do it's for only a single app (DSLR Controller).

So I'll start learning more about the Note 4 while I'm waiting for the Gear VR.
