Do the stereo cube maps have to be hosted on Otoy for this to work ? I've seen a working demo but when I swap out URLs for my own content it never loads.

It should work from any URL, as long as they allow cross domain signing like we do for the RTM gallery. We are working on making it so additional metadata in the ORBX project is importable into their framework.

OK, cubemaps are broken on vizor.io.

Is there any other possibility yet to publish my stereocubemaps online. Of course i am dreaming of these maps being a part of my website, but
at the moment i would be glad for any way to get this done. I mean, all the RTM content is viewable online? Want that as a generall possibility. PLEASE :D

Have a nice day,

Chriz

With Vizor, you could do your own website with cubemaps, with loads of different features and functions.

I honestly believe Vizor will be the platform when the VRweb will start emerging in bigger scale. I suppose with co-operation with Otoy, lightfield data could be arranged trough Vizors platform / combined with ORC, so that the client doesn't need to download the terabytes of data for a half an hour show..

Vizor really is not just a viewer..

I for one have my eyeballs on their progress.
