Hi Rene. Unfortunately I am not on the Nuke beta program, so do not have Nuke 10, so can not compile the plugin to work with it. I will need to wait until Nuke 10 is released.

Hi Paul

I hope you don't mind I took initiative and asked The Foundry if you could perhaps gain access to a developer version of Nuke. Hopefully I haven't intruded on your daily schedule with that or thrown you into the hands of sales people ;-)
I don't know who to contact, but Chris claims you should just contact support directly.
Best regards,
Rene/

Hi Rene,
Thank you for contacting The Foundry Support.
Our Nuke 10 beta is available and open to maintenance customers, so if Paul has a maintenance agreement he should have access to it already.

If however he is not a maintenance customer, but is interested in updating a plugin built for a previous version of Nuke, then he should contact us directly so that we can put him in contact with the relevant people who can potential help get a new license for him.

Please recommend that Paul contacts Support and we would be happy to look into this for him.
Kind regards,
Chris

Hi Rene. The Nuke10 version of the plugin is attached. Pls note the "IMPORTANT" paragraph in the Windows installation section at https://docs.otoy.com/Nuke/?page_id=19. This is built with Octane 3.0.6, so is a pre-release for the next version. There are a few of fixes and changes, and I will document these when the next Nuke9 version of the plugin is released (will probably be compiled with the next Octane alpha API). Given the untested nature of the Nuke10 plugin build - use with caution!

Wow, fast. Sorry, I did not expect you to react already.
I'm on linux. My apologies.
Arch linux, rolling release (but haven't had a problem yet).

Best regards,
Rene

Hi Rene - it will take me a few days to get to doing a Linux build. I will post here when done.

I have refreshed the installers at the top of this thread with:

3.0.12.26
- Resolved issue where the samples per pixel was not being reported when Render Region was active
- Compiled with Octane 3 alpha 10 (3.0.10). This means that Render Region is working again. Authentication panel is also removed.
- Added Environment Type combobox. The plugin will also automatically add an RGB Image node if you specify a Texture in the Environment section of the OctaneRender node
- The Layer Id for an Object Layer can now be edited in the Render Layer panel
- The "You must be rendering in order to save this node graph." no longer pops when you click Save on a ReferenceGeometry3d prior to rendering.
- Added "Auto-save when the .nk file is saved" knob to the ReferenceGeoemtry3d node
- Added HDR Light Studio support to the OSX and Linux versions of the plugin
- Added support for HDR Light Studo 5.3 Area Lights.
- OSX build is included
- Added an Environment Type combo box to the OctaneRender node knobs to allow changing between Daylight and Texture Environments

... And I got swallowed up by work again.

Had time to test: Works beautifully!
Nuke 10.0v1
Arch linux, libc-2.23, libstdc++.so.6.0.21
I didn't even have to use LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6:/lib/libgcc_s.so.1 !

Very happy :-)

Here is a video showing the new OctaneRender for Nuke integration with HDR Light Studio area lights. If there are any Octane users who would like the test this new functionality, pls let me know and I will organise the appropriate licenses.
