VRAM Question with Multiple GPUs

I'm sure it's normal behavior, but if you have say a RTX 3090 with 24 GIGs of VRAM and you add a 1080ti for more power, is it Normal for OCTANE to use the VRAM on the smaller VRAM chipset? Being the 1080ti?

I have a 1080ti as an external GPU going through an M.2 connection and I just realized that VRAM being used is on that card and not the 3090.

I think this is correct but I just wanted to make sure.

Thanks!

Yes correct, since the scene must be loaded completely in each GPU, the active GPU with less VRAM defines the limit of the system.

Thank you! I don't know why I forgot that. Probably because it's the first time I've had mismatched GPU's. ;)
