Anime Kernel

Hello,
I saw in the 'Introducing Octane 5' video an 'Anime Kernel for Raytraced Edges'
https://youtu.be/nxctddnqA-g?t=500

This feature would be very useful to me. I didn't see anything about this in the 2019 release. Was it abandoned or is it coming?

Thank you!

It’s coming, we felt spectron area/sphere lights were higher priority based on user feedback to our roadmap, so we did that first.

I teach software at Leeds Arts University, and on the Comics and Concept Art course we are looking for versatile and easy to use methods of rendering 3D in a comic style.
The toon shading isn't very functional as it is, but the anime kernel is something I am very interested in.
At the moment Blender also has a lot of potential in this area as well.

It’s still in the works. I have a few new slides on its progress and place in the roadmap in my GTC talk this week.

I hope you don't mind me asking this here but when would that be? Can't seem to get the dates to show up on the GTC website. Kudos on the round table talk you did a week ago, by the way!
