I haven't seen this shared here so I decided to take the initiative.



P.S. Otoy can you please add some sound to your videos. It's not an unheard of concept. ;)

Also the upcoming stuff looks really cool.

Yes, but as with V4 there was No time, and this Had to post before siggraph started. Someone did post the video with the Deadpool 2 soundtrack on the official thread:

Hi,

I didn’t check the news sub forum.

Also with or without sound, I’m really impressed with current speed of progress of Octane. A small question, can you apply volume shaders to the vectron objects, so we can create complex procedural clouds and stuff?

I made that yesterday with octane 4 RC 1. Octane handled those many vdb files really well. It was fairly clean with just 80 samples. Thank you for all the wonderful work that you and all the other developers have done.

Now if you can just add support for attributes I’ll be sooooo happy. :)
