Scaling octane power

hey guys,

been using Octane for some time, but this still bothers me.
At this moment I'm using 2x 980 Ti, which gives me 255 points in Octane bench.
I'm planning to add a 1080 Ti, so I'd have about 445 points.

How much would a render time decrease after the update, if it takes 100 seconds to render a frame right now?

thanks

Well, if the OctaneBench score is linear...

2x 980 Ti = 255 bench @ 100 seconds
With the 1080 Ti: 445 bench

445/255 = 1.75x as fast
100/1.75 = 57 seconds

Answer: 57 seconds
