I am struggling to create a materials to represent a single sided transparent label surface, like youi might find on a shrink wrapped bottle, partially glossy, colored, with areas of transparency to see the underlying liquid through. My approaches using mix material have not worked thus far.
Any help or guidance would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Rick

Hi,
since you need to have three different IOR materials to travel, the label, the glass, and the liquid, my suggestion is to go with the same technique as for glass/liquid, and create a 3D label with tiny depth, that slightly overlaps the glass.
In this way you should have much more control over the three materials and the final effect.
ciao Beppe
