Hi, I'm building a new Windows PC for 3D and 2D work.
My usage is 50% modelling and rendering millions of polygons (Octane and Modo) and 50% large canvas matte painting in Photoshop

This is the build list, I wanted to run it by Octane users in case I'm missing something or in case there's something I don't know about

hi there, nice setup!
Just a couple of things...

That cooler is not designed for tr4 socket, it will work via an adapter but it won't cover the whole cpu, i suggest the noctua nh-u14s tr4 or enermax liqtech 240, specifically designed for TR.
concerning the ram i suggest to get any samsung b-die quad chanell kit to avoid any compatibility issue; both threadripper and ryzen are quite picky when it comes to ram and they seem to love the samsung chips.

Also, you may already be aware but just in case:

Make sure SLI is DISABLED when rendering. SLI will dramatically reduce rendering performance. You can still have an SLI bridge connecting the two cards, you just need to make sure you disable it via the Nvidia control panel before any render work.
