» Fixed problem with the main font. Symbol ' » ' now draws correctly.

» Added function ADD ENTRY BY NAME which allows you to create an entry to the list for EXPORT OBJECT DETECT (found in PER TRI in Phantom Scatter). If this name and the OBJECT DETECT material name match up, linked node data will be exported correctly by Phantom Scatter.

» Added function REMOVE SELECTED ENTRY.

» Nested groups are now supported, but make sure 'Geometry out' nodes are only on the main node, not in groups inside the main group! So you can use nested groups for material and texture works, but not geometry. Geometry has to be inside the main node and then have 'Geometry out' nodes that can be recognised by Phantom Node Link and Phantom Scatter. The amount of 'Geometry out' nodes here has to match the amount of variantes you want to export for the scatter object. Then it can all be linked up automatically.

» Added Troubleshooting chapter in the manual

Phantom Scatter and Phantom Node Link are being developed again, finally got some time. I'm going to add a super easy way to make 2 states for your linked nodes... a day state and a night state. That will make building night scenes for archviz super easy, you'll be able to make scenes where at night the lights are on.

» For OBJECT DETECT type objects, keyword '_flip_' is now recognised and shown in the list.

» For OBJECT DETECT type objects, keyword '_scale_XX_' is now recognised and shown in the list.

» For OBJECT DETECT type objects, keyword '_z_' is now recognised and shown in the list.

» Software now visually displays a warning about data back-up and a tip about scrolling faster.

» Added KEYWORDS column to the UI to help make sure the tracking is correct.

» Added function RENAME ENTRY BY NAME. Allows you to rename OBJECT DETECT entries in the list. If the OBJECT DETECT entry contains any node data, that files will be renamed aswell. (Node data is stored in C:\Phantom Node Link\library).

» Fixed problem with node data not being recognised while data does exist (caused by Windows OS).

» Added NIGHT STATE column to the UI to help make sure the state tracking is correct. When linked node data has exactly double the amount of geometry outputs than required (the number of variants), this scatter object will be used as a NIGHT STATE one on export in Phantom Scatter. Please see the tutorial in chapter 09 to learn how to use this.

» Fixed problem regarding nested groups causing exported node data (using function COPY EXISTING DATA) to corrupt and become unsable in Octane.

» Improvements to analysing the XML node data.

Update is on the way, has some features that tie in with upcoming Phantom Scatter 1.12.1 but I'm also trying to make a trianglecount analysis feature that scans your linked resources. I ran into VRAM problems yesterday and I realise its very difficult to optimise; need some kind of function that tells me where the triangles are being eaten up so I can cut those specific models down!

» OctaneRender™ 3 is now a minimum requirement for Phantom Node Link. This is to prevent the XML export breaking when nodes contain Octane 3 specific data and are forced into the Octane 2 feature level inside the XML.

» The 'NIGHTSTATE' column has been renamed to 'STATE'.

» For OBJECT DETECT type objects, when no night state has been detected, it will list as 'D' (day).

» For OBJECT DETECT type objects, when night state has been detected, it list will list as 'D+N' (day+night).

» For OBJECT DETECT type objects, a new state has been added: golden hour. When it has been detected it will list as 'D+G+N' (day+golden hour+night). Please see the tutorial in chapter 09 to learn how to use this.

» The '_dynamic_XXXX_' keyword is now recognised in OBJECT DETECT type objects and displayed in the keywords column. I t is displayed as 'DS (XXXX)'. » Keyword 'Z-ROTATION' is now displayed as 'Z-ROT'.

» Added function ANALYSE TRIANGLECOUNT. This function searches the OBJ meshes inside your linked resources and lists how much triangles those resource are eating up. Useful for scene optimisation when you run out of usable VRAM.

» Added function ADD ENTRY BY CLIPBOARD, same as ADD ENTRY BY NAME but it grabs the content of the clipboard and auto-fills it in. Saves time.

» In the keywords column, renamed ‘SCALE' to 'S'.

» For OBJECT DETECT, the keyword '_mirror_' is now recognised and indicated in the keywords column with an 'M'.
