There is definitely something wrong with motion vector in v3 alpha (not with 2.25), thanks for pointing out. I'm going to send a scene to developers that shows the issue

Hi,
I'm actually seeing an all grey MV pass in 2.25, in C4D plug-in on Mac.
No one has that issue in 2.25?

Thanks a lot for the reference file.
I went through and double checked compared settings, but mine is still solid grey.
Pretty sure everything is is the same. I'm just starting with octane so it's possible I missed something obvious.
I attached a file if anyone is willing to help out a noob.
New to the forum, so let me know if I need to upload differently.
Thanks again.
Dom

Your values are wrong in camera tag.
Set timeshift=0 and more shutter time as 0.02, 0.04, etc..

Aha, that totally makes sense. I overlooked that after pushing those around.
Thanks a lot!

Motion vectors work just fine in Live Viewer, however when I render the sequence I get solid grey only

Don't know what's wrong on your scene but that's not working. But copy/paste it to a new scene and it works. Default settings are optimal on every case. See the scene.
