Saving Layered EXR from the Turntable Animation script

Hi all
Does anybody know if there is a way to save layered EXR from the Turntable script in the standalone? :) Or at least all the different passes as PNG?
I see it is possible in the Batch Rendering script but I do not see any similar option in the Turntable script, only simple PNG.
Am I missing a step somewhere or it is just not possible? Is there a Lua script that can do that?

Thanks!

Hi Paolo_Giandoso,
yes correct, the turntable script currently works only in PNG8 mode.
Here is a modified version that should save in multi EXR file format:
TurntableMultiExr.lua

Hi there,

Like Bepe already said, these options aren't available in the daylight animation and turntable animation scripts. I've made a not of this and will make sure we have the same output options for the 3 scripts somewhere in the future.

cheers,
Thomas

Hi there!

I've just tried this script on the new octane 2020.2

The first render isn't saved and the process is stuck at rendering frame 1. Would it be possible to have an updated script?

Thanks a lot!

Hi,

Thanks a lot for your fast answer!

I've just updated to the last version 2020.2.3 and I've got the same issue.
The first frame has finished rendering in the viewport, the turntable animation box is frozen on rendering frame 1, and the destination folder is empty.

Thanks again!

Hi,
just tried with 2020.2.3 + Turntable script, and everything has worked as expected:

Please share a screenshot of your Turntable settings.
