Gigabit network problem and 10Gb network advice

Hi
I have 4 slave PCs and when a scene gets sent to them I get around 250 Mbps transfer speed to each slave instead of 1 Gigabit speeds (not sure why. Maybe transfer of data to multiple slaves slows down the system). Do you think 10 Gb network will make a difference or since I cannot even get 1 Gb speeds at the current network there is no point to upgrade. Thanks

If the output from the master also is 1Gigabit per second then (1000/4=250) sounds about right to me. If you are sending to just 1 slave the speed should be the full 1000 megabit per second. Otherwise you have a bottleneck somewhere like a router or switch.
