Upgrading from octane 4 to 2020 we have hit one specific problem. All the octane 4 projects which use c4d noise and gradients will render differently because octane 4 was baking these down to textures whilst octane 2020 can keep these as nice live resolution independent textures. We know we can disable the OSL option to revert back to the octane 4 behaviour, but the problem is that this setting is global, not local to each project.
So we cannot queue up projects in the render queue as some artists have made the project with OSL off as they transition to the new version and others have OSL on as they start new projects.
Could we please move the OSL setting to being saved per-project and not as a c4d-wide global preference? Even without the transition, there are projects where I will want to bake down textures and other projects where I want the OSL shader support.
