Splines requests Tweet

Heya,
I have 2 requests.

a) Is it possible to render splines as render instances/multi instances?
I do some heavy knitting stuff and i cant render em after the fact.

b) Random color per spline when inside a cloners. At the moment in viewport i see colors fine but not in live viewer.
