Quixel / Megascans to Octane / C4D

Hi guys

it's been a long time I dropped megascans/quixel because I couldn't find a workflow that brings those basically super cool surfaces from quixel/megascans to octane. It would be so great if somebody could explain how to do this right. And now with the latest release of the Megascans Mixer we HAVE to find a way this tool is so great.

But to be honest I think it will never be really great because of a displacement funktion in octane that is just not on the level it should be to make us happy.

Don't refer to any older youtube movie please. I tried it all... it looks somehow... but it NEVER looks really great. It always renders blurry or edgy, normal/bump/displacement combination never seems to work (btw. normal map integration alone seems non standard or bugy to me).

I already made a lot with https://www.rd-textures.com/. They look really nice and I was never able to reach that level with megascans... by far not.

Would be very glad for a little help.
