C4D Hair Material / Roots color bug

I just found a little bug when working with the C4D Hair material: In the color channel, i put a noise into the roots slot. In C4D now each hair is assigned with the color of the noise (the whole strand, no matter how long it is). So if the noise is black, the whole strand will get black. Unfortunately Octane interprets it as a 3D mapped noise, and the tips will be assigned with the 3d noise. So it differs from the C4D behaviour.

It's not a bug, that's how our OSL noise implementation evaluates the texture space for C4D noises. Switch to UV mode as in picture.
