Hi. Not sure when it started. But maybe! I brought some of my video cards home from work when my company started working from home. I always used two PC though, one from home and one from work, and I sync all my files and use both to develop projects and assets... but yes I did modify the home 6-7 weeks ago.

Actually the scene that made me realize something is wrong, I made it last week.. I imported that plant and several other assets to a scene and it rendered fine.. then on Saturday when I rendered it, it would crash.. I didn't make any hardware changes since when it WAS working for that particular scene.

The same is happening to me. Some materials that worked on V4 are crashing on Octane 2020.1. I'll try to provide bug report soon.

Please try to delete texCache with "Empty texCache" command. This solved the problem of Frez121212.

Getting lots of crashes lately. For example, when the live viewer is rendering, if I switch off and on octane lights (green tick), it simply crashes and I get the pop up saying this plugin is crashed, find the report here etc. And my machine is no ordinary. It is quite high-end.

System Info:

RTX 3090
i7 10700
32 GB Ram
Windows 10
Octane version: 2020.2.3-R3
Cinema 4D R21

I tried emptying the texture cache but no avail. Generally since I started my subscription with this 2020 version, many actions can cause crash making me feel like this version is quite unstable.

Please advise.

Thanks!
