A. Win 10 Pro 21H1
B. 2080TI and 3090
C. 32-64GB
D. Nvidia driver version 461.72 and 471.96
E. Standalone Octane: None
F. OctaneRender plugin version 2020.2.3
G. C4D R23.110
H. Steps to reproduce

We are having an issue that we cannot seem to fix. Due to the VRAM difference between liveviewer and pictureviewer, (see this thread viewtopic.php?f=86&t=78425 )
When running a scene that is almost out of VRAM bounds. I would expect it to go OOC. Instead we get this situation. See screenshots.
As far as we understand. It simply touched untouchable ram and therefore has crashed. OOC is on and overhead was set to 1Gb. As we expect that it takes windows into account with the overhead, as it can measure that. So we assume that it calculates 1Gb on TOP of the “free” VRAM space.
Kindly advise how to fix this. We would ofcourse rather have renders go out of core as compared to crashing in mysterious ways.
