I have been dealing this problem now for several days, trying to work it out on my own with no success.
The issue is this:
I start up Cinema 4d and create a cube for example. I make it editable. I start working with the various tools: polygon mode, extrude, scale, move etc.
Everything works fine for a few moments but eventually the tools stop working and the only thing they do is allow me to do is pan from side to side in the viewport.
Nothing crashes and I can switch freely between any of the tools, they just don't do anything but pan. Everything else in Cinema seems to work fine after the tools freeze up.
I can create new objects, add deformers etc. I can restart Cinema things will work again for a few moments but the process then repeats and the tools freeze.
I have tried switching back to previous versions of Cinema 18, installing different versions of the Standalone and Plugin, and different versions of the Nvidia drivers.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a work around?
Thanks in advance.
