Hi all,
Finally C4D plugin is out of Preview phase, now Release Candicate. This build based on 2020.2-RC5 SDK. Anyway Please DO NOT USE for PRODUCTION purpose. Your some octane settings may get lost with future builds. It's on your risk until remarked as stable. Any feedback will be much appreciated.

Make sure to use a NVIDIA Studio driver with version at least 456.38 on Windows or 455.23 on Linux to use this version. No driver updates are required for macOS 10.13 (CUDA).

This version supports the new NVIDIA Ampere architecture on Windows and Linux. Kepler cards with compute model lower than 3.5 are just supported on macOS.

This is the matching Standalone: OctaneRender™ 2020.2-RC5.

Changes
- RTX checkbox to devices section.
- Fixed several glitches in NodeEditor/etc... for new stuff(AOV/composite texture)
- AOV system: Under rendersettings/AOV section.
- OCIO color management, deprecated the old tonemapping. Added OCIO colorspace option to LiveViewer for seeing OCIO colors. This section is under development and use it carefully. It can cause render failures and wrong results.
- Fix: small floating-point error on frame numbers for animated ORBX export when sub-frames used
- New save image dialog
- New texture nodes: composite, channel[invert/map/merge/pick], rayswitch, spotlight_distribution
- Several minor fixes, improvements (colorpicker/display color profile/visual revisions/...)
- Volume gradient issue on Node Editor


Note that: Tonemapping system changed, old parameters need to be adjusted to obtain the same look.

Hey there! I don't know how much of the Aces implementation is under development vs not looked into so here are a few things:

- The "View" dropdown menu doesn't do anything
- Missing option to load in OCIO profiles
- Missing AcesCG
- Missing the option to select the target gamut output (also known as View Transform)

I hope all of these mandatory Aces features make it to the final release!

Plugin crashes on render to picture view. Live Viewer works fine.

C4D R17, empty scene. Including logs.

It will only work after selecting your OCIO config and intermediate color space in Color Management tab.

- Missing option to load in OCIO profiles:
Octane Settings - Settings - Color Management
- Missing AcesCG:
Main - Settings - Color Space - ACES CG
(You will be rendering in ACES2065-1, but Octane will convert and save your render as ACES CG)
