There are issues with Xpresso which I reported to Maxon but at the end it looks that these issues are caused by Octane plugin.

First issue :
If Octane tag is used in Xpresso object, changing reference of that object to another that has the same User Data menus cause that all connections are lost.

Next issue :
If Object has Octane tag and some of its parameters are used in HUD which is grouped it will not load in XRef - Xref will show individual HUD elements but not Group :

It all works fine if Objects doesn't use Octane tags

EDIT : Sorry, but after investigating 2nd issue was caused by C4D interface issue when was used custom arrangement of panels like perspective view on the top right side.

When rendering animations, the hair would stay in place and separate from the character, initially it was a problem in R4, then R5 fixed it, then R6 it came back? Hair animation BUG! Hair animation BUG! Hair animation BUG!

Thanks for great report!
Could you please give your example? It's working well on my tests.

I also have a problem where hair stays in place and doesn't move, maybe that's related... Please open the attached file, start render and press play.

Not exactly same, but can you show me a picture from the issue?

Scatter Object display doesn't work. Also it not update in this mode.

Distribution noises in world mode doesn't work. I don't remember if that doesn't work in the past too.

Render instance of render instance works fine until something is not changed. It works fine in Octane final render but not in LV. It started to works fine in LV only if Cloner seed is changed but sometimes changing seed in one cloner change looks of other clones too that use the same render instance object.

Hello developers,
I hope the next minor version can optimize an AOV node. This ‘Image AOV’ node hopes to support sequential frame images, just like the previous ‘Image Texture’. This feature is very useful to us and we hope it will be added soon.
