Hello,
I installed Mac M1 plugin, c4d can't launch, it crashed everytime. How can we fix it?

Yep, still crashes. Good suggestion though!

Also tried copy/pasting WITH the plane its scattering on so no links break, also crashes.

Again I tested this with about 6 different scatters across 4/5 different projects. Going back to 2021.1.4, works perfectly.

Oh bugs are totally fine, totally understand :) Im just reporting it now as I didnt have any time to test dev builds and this is the first chance i've gotten to play around.

As mentioned I cant screencap at the moment, but just triple checked the below project and it happens every time. Just built this in 2021.1.4, swapped over to 2022.1 and it crashes without fail.

Very curious if this happens for you? I'm on S24

I can copy all and paste to a new scene without any troubles. Even tried in S24, same! Maybe you can try to reset C4D preferences. I can help, not sure! Also bugreport file is not bugreport.zip. It's under _bugreports directory next to prefs directory.

Thanks for trying, so so weird! I just reset prefs but same issue (testing with that project I sent), any other ideas?

I found that I'm copying all nodes. It's happening when I just copy scatter with child object. Probably missing node and connection to effector slot that's causing a problem. I will check more....

EDIT: It's a weakness in the related function. There is an instant case during copy/paste operation with linked effectors. Somehow it gets the effector link even it's not in scene and crashing. Now fixed by adding some extra controls for avoiding the null case.

Bug: When using the Standard Surface material - if you have any values or input into the weight of coating layer, unchecking the checkbox for "Coating layer" does not deactivate the coating layer. In fact, I think that is the case for all checkboxes.
