Could we have a command for "Empty TexCache"? Currently there is no way to have a buton or even to assign a shortcut to this command.
I use it to constantly to avoid instabilities and C4D freeze.

I don't know.
Last time I reported this issue to you, you did tell me it was hard to give diagnostic and you did recommend me to try the "Empty Texcache" command, as in fact, helps minimize C4D freezing when render reloads in Liveview window.

Well, I will repost this problem I have with octane c4d again.
But when I create a native c4d background with a background image and I launch the octane live viewer, it always crashes, I've been reporting this problem for years now, it's becoming unbearable not to have any feedback on this when it's a relatively important problem! I am always asked to send a scene to see, BUT IT IS NOT NEEDED, make the case takes 1 click and you would see, I hope this is the last time I should post this problem otherwise I unsubscribe from otoy, I pay for the development of the software, I expect the plug-in to develop with the feedback it gets.

I'm pissed off. And I'm not the only one to have reported this problem

Hi! It's not reproducible EVERYTIME, that's why we couldn't solve it most likely. I've encountered it ONCE today but not SECOND until now. That's making it hard to understand.

Have you screen recorded the error?
As a .gif.
Sometimes it helps to see how does it crash. Or some other users could relate to it.

I have tried this there now Octane 2021.1.6(R4) and R26.107. No crash - tried a few times.
I am not sure there is a way to use a C4D background object within C4D-Octane, are you projection mapping? Be useful to know your intent.
Projection mapping within Octane can be a bit confusing if you are used to C4D and Projectionman etc.

Crash with background is occurring in used image scaling function of Cinema4D and it's not happening on every try. Mostly when creating an empty scene or random times. I'm trying to fix and replace somehow. But not sure how to do.
