This bug is also in 2020 release.

Everything seems to work as expected here with Bump + Normal in Universal material (right), and Glossy (left):

Could you share a scene with assets that shows the issue?

Okay i found an issue. The bug appeared if you have a sheen layer. You HAVE to put BOTH your normal and bump into sheen's normal and bump channels.

@Y81r
You cannot use non-English characters anymore. Because revised the system to let these as attributes in osl scripts and OSL doesn't support this kind of characters. Possible implementation may be to do a conversion to English, but It will cause performance loss.

For background color now we have a parameter under settings to change it as you wish

And about search, I know we have some small issues. Even on different areas, I try to fix and improve when possible. Thanks for pointing it out.

Hi, Aoktar
The plugin feels great so far!
Is the "Light pass 8" missing in the "Render AOV group" tabs?
Regards,

Ok, so not a bug but how the Sheen layer works for Universal material.
If you don't specify a Bump/Normal map, the sheen layer uses the default shading normal. Otherwise, it applies the bump/normal-mapped surface to the sheen layer.

Cliping Material

Postby miohn » Mon Oct 18, 2021 2:25 pm

Hi,

so I know now how to use the Clipping Material.

But one question left: is it possible to exclude objects from beeing clipped?
Atm the clipping object cuts off "everything" in the scene.

regards
Mike

how to use : viewtopic.php?f=30&t=78529

Lower their priority increase other. "The clipping material by default has a priority of 100 and would clip every geometry with material of priority less than 100."

Hi just wondering if anyone experience crashes when soloing nodes sometimes? It's also a little buggy when at times it doesn't unsolo in the viewport render.
