Not sure what you mean to first, if you're saving as PNG/EXR in LV then plugin will use Octane's saving functions. I cannot see any problem on saving. Maybe worth to illustrate it a bit better.
About second, you cannot get denoised results in to beauty if you're using Octane-EXR. Because it's directly saved from Octane render buffers. With other formats we can do that because there's a transfer buffer(copy denoised to beauty) to revise.

Not sure why you cannot solve it, but it will save denoised beauty if you save main buffer with "use denoised beauty pass" option and denoiser activated.

Apologies if this has been discussed already. When using Spot lights, with no medium enabled, there are artifacts where the outer edge of the cone interacts with geometry in the scene.

did you already have the opportunity to look at my testfile?
Still cannot get the BG to show up in the Multipass PSD.
Can you tell me if I forgot to enable something or is it a software problem?


Btw. is there an detailed tutorial about the new AOV System in 2021?

Hi Mike, I have been looking at your file, and I have a question into the devs about it. I do not see a way to specify the BG in 2021 as an AOV output. I am reminded that 2021 is still under active development and not yet complete (production use is not yet recommended), and that is likely the reason. That is also why tutorials have yet to appear — they will once the feature is complete.

Background objects will not be supported AOV system or render passes. You can just use with main render buffer. You have to find another way for mixing images with AOVs in AOV system

Denoised Beauty are not being outputed on the render passes.. Denoiser active, save beauty.. you can see the denoised result on the picture viewer, but the file on photoshop is the standart beauty

This version is crashing R25 as soon as I open Octane settings or Live Viewer ...

Any one else having this issue?

What could be the reason?
