We've disassembled the buggy scene and found a solution, but I'm still trying to figure out what the actual problem was.
There was an animated texture with a frame range from 812K to 812K. Maybe this was causing the memory leak. The strange thing is that this texture wasnt applied to any object...
Will get back to you with a test scene when I have time to narrow down the error.
