Hi mbetke,
yes, it work, you can find RC option in Render setup > support.

Hi Paride,
It doesn't work for me. Rail Clone uses a lot of vram like instance doesnt work the way it works in itoo forest. We created highway rail guards 4 miles long and it uses 300 mb of vram. Too much for instanced objects. Can you look at it? Thanks

Hi coilbook,
I had a 4 mile rail guard, it eats about 74 Mb.
Do I something different from you?

This is funny. I also tested with 10 instanced trees. 10Mio polies.

All trees just copied as an instance need exactly the same VRAM/RAM than an RC object with ten trees. I use point cloud for display.

Seems to work fine.
In old versions the RC point cloud turned to a mesh in viewport as soon as I pressed render. It used a lot of ram too.

I will now test doing hedges with RC again.
