Hi Paride,
I sent you the scene as PM. Please go to frame 64 and render two images with AI lights on and AI lights off.
Not only ai lights make rendering slower it also makes the image noisier. I thought the whole point of AI is to make it cleaner and faster with a lot of lights. I reported this long time ago and this bug is still present. Can you report this bug to them?

Thank you

Hi coilbook,
I made some test, I'm not sure if it depends on AI light, but you could make a better setting:
min adaptive sample to 500 instead of 1000
sampling rate to 1 (no sense to set all emitters to 1000)
check Keep instance power in emitters

Thanks!
So if I have a lot of lights in the scene (light posts, cars, buildings) should I leave sampling rate at1? What's the point of sampling rate then and by how much do you recommend increasing it 10, 100, 1000, 10000?

Hi coilbook,
Sampling Rate choose what light sources receive more samples, but if you set all lights in your scene to 100 or 1000 is equal to 1, there will be no priority.
