The parameter value jumps to strange values with ALT or Ctrl

Hello
In 3ds max 2107 and 2018, drag any parameter (eg cylinder radius) with high precision (with the ALT key) or with low precision (Ctrl key) the parameter value jumps to strange values (then the mouse pointer jumps to a different place on the screen).
You can not use these keys until I press the pause rendring (or close the render window).

(Widnows 10, 64b. GTX1080Ti, Octan Render 3.06.4-4.41)

Hi koralfx,
I do not seem to have this issue or if it depends on Octane render, did you try using another render engine, e.g. Scanline?
Does it still happen?

This only happens for movable proxy objects (and "Autoupdate movable proxy" option set to ON).
Of course - only with Octane Renderer and with an active render window (no pasused).
At first the value changes smoothly, and then there is a sudden jump in the value and mouse pointer jump to random position on screen.
It is impossible to return to the previous value (only undo).

Increasing "Refresh time" option to much larger (eg over 1000ms) helps but still happens.

Of course, it's about dragging the value with the spinner arrows, as in the attached picture.
