If you want to see something in octane you need to add a "Mesh" operator in your event. With "Triangle Mesh" and uncheck Render only.
If you want to render a lot of instanced objects you must : (see pict)
- add "Mesh" operator and check "render only" if there is really lot of object and it slow down max viewport.
- check "enable Particle interface" in tyflow settings.
Works very well.

Question to Paride :
When we need to use a gradient to color tyflow particle depending to its age, octane render gradient don't work, but max's plugged in a rgbImage node is working ?

Thank you!

Hi ramone163,
it's an SDK issue, should be solved with the next release 2020.2.2.

Do you know how to create a bright narrow projector light? I tried IES and regular disk lights but nothing works
And get rid of noise around the projector. We have octane atmospherics
Thanks

PS I need narrow volume light. Can a new octane version create volume lights and how?

Hi coilbook,
volumetric spotlight?
