1. Could you send me a sample scene where you have no difference between old and new volumes? I just want to try on my PC.
In my scene we can clearly see the difference. New volume doesn't scatter well and it is darker. Please try with AO kernel

2. Do you know if phoenix motion blur bug will be fixed soon or it is a long process to fix it?

Thank you

Hi coilbook,
you could try to download my PhoenixFD sample file shared in the forum.
https://render.otoy.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=21
Could you describe your issued workflow so that I can do exactly the same to test it?
And could you share a sim file so I will test it using Octane SA from v4 on.

I have question about Hair & Fur support.
One scene instant crashed 3ds max when I just click render. It's only simple model of a cat with H&F world modifier.

Is H&F supported or not? Maybe I have to do something special?

Hi mbetke,
it depends on v2019 SDK; it seems that enabling shadow catcher, it turns to shadows catcher material.

Hi mbetke,
Hair and fur is supported, but we can only get it as a single big mesh, not directly using Octane's hair..
One possible reason for a crash can be memory usage if too many hair are created..
Also, with Hair and fur, there can be cases where the geometry normals are not created properly : you could try to add a 'normal' modifier to your geometry..
Here is a small Hair and Fur sample, to check that this works for you.

It turns to shadow catcher material feature of course. But in recent versions I was able to adjust the transparency of the shadow and match the scene. Now it is pitch black and material controls in material editor don't work any more as soon as I click the shadow catcher checkbox. This needs to be fixed because at the moment shadow catcher is nearly unusable.
