@Paride. I tried 4.00 XB3 6.02 on an old scene.
First time I opened octane viewport, render begin quasi immediatly (this is not a big scene through)
Second time, stuck on evaluation for a long time (I closed the viewport window before falling asleep)
strange. ---- > oooops : not so strange I was looking denoised pass , so it was calculating the minimum to begin denoising.. sorry
I have a 1080 ti for rendering and titanX for denoising and tone mapping
titanX run as it is making the render.
strange.
I made a test on a "more heavy scene": 1920 objects, 12 000 000 voxels.
- 4 xb3 6.02 : 1mn25 before rendering
- 3.08 5.12 : 1mn55 before rendering
I would like more enhancement in next versions.... :mrgreen: ( a lot :mrgreen: :mrgreen: )
Cheers

Hi HHbomb,
if you have no particular reasons for not doing it, you could increase render performance using "denoise on completion" option.

No It won't, but render time is shorter than before.

@Paride : could we expect a speed inscrease for loading scene in next future ?

I have a problem in denoising , get a very different intensity. It is behind specular material. Denoiser have some problem behind specular materials.

It depends on SDK's development., I have not answer about.
