Hi guys,
happy monday to you.
Here new features of the upcoming 3.08 SDK release will have the following news, that will be in Octane 3dsMax plugin soon.
https://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=65686
In addition to this, 3dsMax Octane plugin developers will work to solve all the issues reported in this forum that I reported in a to-do list.

Thank you!!

Lots of bug fixes and super happy to see that render passes will have correct burn control now. I didn't even know that Octane had toon shading at this point - can't wait to try it out when 3dsmax gets it.

coilbook wrote:there is a bug with octane and phoenix 3.04 when foam bubbles are rendered only and liquid is set to non renderable (grid selected and then properties > render uncheck) then bubbles do not update during rendering and are stationary

maybe octane thinks that phoenix does not need to be rendered at all. But how do you render bubbles only. Even if liquid output is disabled phoenix still renders liquid mesh

Hi coilbook,
could you share a test file or some screenshot setting about your sim please?

..wait am I insane: when I delete an object - vieport unpauses and force updates - I've set it on lock and pause and this takes like half a minute to do..

- this is insane - OK can you put another button that actually locks and really freezes, hard lock? - this issue slows down viewport performance brutally

..also still getting glitchy perfomance, like have to reload on some occasions since the movable proxy doesn't update

or when auto save starts with viewport open you have to wait till auto save is done plus octane viewport rendering is done
